What you can do with Salon Zukan

A website, online booking and customer management — the basics are free. Customers who join can manage their own bookings on their phone.

Your website

  • If your salon is listed, pick it and start with your address and details already filled in
  • Photos, menu and prices, staff, hours and map — easy to read on phones
  • Your own address (e.g. your-salon.salon-zukan.com) and a link from your Salon Zukan listing
  • A contact form — we email you when a message arrives, and you reply in My page

Online booking

  • Shows customers only the open times, based on staff hours and service length
  • You get an email for each booking and the customer gets a confirmation. After booking, they return to your page
  • Choose open booking or members only. No per-booking fees

Bookings & customers (CLT Members)

  • Day, week and month views. Add phone bookings and record visits and no-shows
  • Staff hours and days off, menu and prices — the same as in the Salon Zukan editor, so edits in either place update both
  • Your customer (member) list, visit history and member news. Opens straight from Salon Zukan (no second sign-in)

What members can do

  • Join free with just a name and email. Sign in with a code we email — no password
  • View, change or cancel bookings on the member page (up to the salon's deadline)
  • Faster booking next time, news from the salon, and a member card (QR code)
  • Chat with the salon (if the salon turns it on) — photos too, and replies arrive as app notifications
  • The “CLT Members” app: iPhone（App Store）・Android（Google Play）
Monthly

Fewer no-shows, more repeat customers

  • Card on file & cancellation fees: Keep a card on file at booking and charge fees for same-day cancellations and no-shows (Stripe or Square)
  • Punch cards: Sell 10-visit cards and more at the front desk or online; a visit is taken off automatically, matched to the booked service
  • Gift cards: Gift cards bought online and sent by email, and prepaid balances spent by amount (e.g. pay $300, get $330)
  • All three together in the “Salon set” for $29 a month. Every add-on has a 14-day free trial

How does verification work?
Before publishing, we make sure you really run the salon. In the U.S., just upload a photo of your state license (in Japan, the health center certificate). If you already have a website, you can also verify by adding a tag to it or by email to the address shown on it. No mail, no paperwork.

You can add it yourself — including salons in areas whose lists aren't published yet.

Add the URL and we'll link it from your directory page (free).
How do bookings work?
Use CLT Members salon booking for free (it shows open slots by stylist and service length), or keep your current booking site, LINE or phone.
Can I sell punch cards or gift cards?
Yes, as add-ons. For punch cards, set the number of visits, price, validity and the services they cover, then issue them at the front desk or let members buy them online by card. Customers pick the card when they book, and a visit is taken off automatically when you mark the booking done. Gift cards can be bought online and sent by email, or used as a prepaid balance; at the front desk you take payments from the balance. To sell online, connect Stripe or Square (the money goes straight to your salon).
Can I use my own domain?
A custom domain (e.g. www.your-salon.com) is an add-on. Change one DNS record and we handle the https certificate.
